Today is Trans Day Of Remembrance. To us it is not only a moment to remember all the lives lost to transphobic hate - here and abroad. It's also a time to remember all the lives that are and were lived less vibrantly because of transphobia. The emotional energy lost, the productivity and creativity lost, the ways we all - cis or trans - are the worse for it. And the power trans people have given to all our other liberation battles, including our own as bi people. Few bi campaigning and support groups over the decades would have survived without the energies they have brought to a shared cause. In ending transphobia we would be in so much better a place as a society, country and world. Rest in power today, rage against the forces of oppression through the year.
