It's Bi Visibility Day next Monday, September 23rd.
That'll be 25 years since we first marked the date in Manchester - way back in 1999. A lot has changed since then - in the 1990s and 2000s the city council said there was officially no such thing as a bisexual, and a string of bars around the city's Canal Street gay quarter had "no bisexuals" door policies. This year we will have a social meetup and we will raise a bi banner on the Piccadilly end of Canal Street. We'll also be sending speakers to events in the city as usual, as marking the date is not just a thing for bi groups to do!
